Sunday Smoke Kit return with their first EP release in 13 years. The as yet titled collection is due out this Spring/Summer. "Western Skies" is a track previously heard as a live version (with the band line-up of: Scott Meiggs:vocals, guitar/Neil DelParto: Drums/Dan Villanueva: lead Guitar/Mark Renfro: Bass) featured on the "I Love The Rain" EP. The band continues its indiefolk/countryrock/pop leanings (think "Stoned & Dethroned" era JAMC meets '67-'69 period Byrds with a sprinkle of Mojave 3 and Red House Painters). Sunday Smoke Kit's roots began as an indie Mid-Fidelity bedroom/garage noise pop band.
