Roanoke, VA’s The Young Sinclairs have been very busy in 2013. So far this year they have released three critically acclaimed 7” singles via three great European labels and have been featured twice on the very popular syndicated radio show Little Stevens Underground Garage. Along the way they have picked up a slew of new fans and music publications that have championed the band . US based indie label Planting Seeds Records’ continues the streak with the fantastic release of “You Know Where To Find Me” EP (PSR083)! It’s set to hit record shops and digital outlets worldwide on September 17, 2013 via limited edition 7” 45 RPM vinyl and digital download (which contains a not-to-be-missed bonus track).
The Young Sinclairs’ timeless melodic trip continues with their latest 4-song EP release - “You Know Where To Find Me”. It all takes flight with the title track showcasing their trademark electric 12 string jangle – sprinkling in hints of classic Buddy Holly and the Mersey Beat sound, all while lead Sinclair Sam Lunsford confidently states “I know you’re thinking of me, so we got time…You know where to find me.” “Too Young” is further proof of The Young Sinclairs’ mastery of pop romanticism, easily re-imagining an era of innocents long missing in pop/rock music – heartfelt indeed. Rounding things out are two fine riff driven pure rockers, the anthem like “Ear to the Ground” along with the garage/fuzzguitar laden glory of “Remember This Song”. “You Know Where To Find Me” EP brings you two exciting sides of The Young Sinclairs – solidifying them as one of today’s most prolific band’s and instantly leaving you humming each of these soon-to-be classics.
The Young Sinclairs have been bringing their brand of jangly 60's inspired psyche/folk/rock (RIYL: The Byrds, The Essex Green, Rain Parade, The Zombies, etc.) to the world since 2005 as part of the Magic Twig Community. The band features: John Thompson, Daniel Cundiff (Eternal Summers), Kyle Harris (The Diamond Center),Joe Lunsford, and Samuel Lunsford (ex 63 Crayons). In their more than five year history they have self-released several full length LPs, EPs and cassettes. Along with their new "You Know Where to Find Me E.P." the band has released several 7” singles worldwide as well as full length LP including one via legendary indiepop label Kindercore Records. As a Committee To Keep Music Evil affiliate, The Young Sinclairs have successfully toured with The Brian Jonestown Massacre and Australian group The Lovetones. They have also played in support of 60's stoner legends Blue Cheer and Sweden's Dungen, among many others. A tour of the East Coast is in the works for fall 2013, in the meantime, prepare to experience the extraordinary world of The Young Sinclairs.
